2020 Iron Man Winners Make History
The results for the 2020 Iron Man ELITE program are not only in, they’re historic!
For the first time since launching the incentive program in 2014, the top award goes to a woman. Also making history is the first winner in the new Major Accounts category introduced last year.
Maria Peterson of Miami Industrial Trucks is the top winner in Territory Sales and first woman to earn the honor and respect that goes with the Iron Man ELITE title. She and Miami Industrial Trucks Sales Manager Tony Argue, a winner in the Sales Manager category, attribute their success last year to teamwork.
“I’m so excited and honored to be recognized as an Iron Man ELITE,” Peterson said. “2020 was an especially challenging year for sales professionals (and everyone else), but for me, the help and support of a great team at Miami Industrial Trucks and at home made all of the difference!”
Argue agrees. “This award is not an individual award,” he said. “It happens because of the support that we receive from our parts, service, rental and admin teams at Miami Industrial Trucks! Sales may sell the first unit, but it is the beyond-world-class customer service and support that our clients receive on the front lines that keep them coming back for repeat business!”
When asked what being the first woman Iron Man ELITE titleholder means to Maria, she replied, “I believe anyone – women and men alike – can accomplish anything with hard work, focus and discipline! I’m thankful for my profession and the opportunity to not only be a good role model for my children but for others in the industry!”
