New Jungheinrich 48-Volt Moving Mast Reach Truck Delivers High Performance, Increased Energy Efficiency
A new series of Jungheinrich 3,900-5,500 lb. capacity 48-volt moving mast reach trucks is now available and ready to order. Featuring advanced AC technology and a modern design, the new ETV 3 series delivers high performance and energy efficiency with the most ergonomic operator compartment in the industry.

- Improved cycle times with 10 percent lower energy consumption and 33 percent faster lift speeds
- Advanced Jungheinrich AC electric control system, usage of proven Jungheinrich drive and lift motors, and the new offering of Drive Plus, Lift Plus and Drive + Lift Plus performance options.
Precision
These models feature the “Steer to Straight” steering synchronization function that aligns the drive tire to the 9 o’clock steering wheel position when driving in a straight direction. This helps the operator a consistent operating behavior that leads to higher productivity and optimum ergonomics.
Stability
A 20 percent reduction in mast deflection has been achieved with the new mast design. Other improvements include:
- Extending the mast lifting range to 42 feet (511″)
- Improving the mast staging performance to be very smooth and quiet
- Increasing the reach pushing force to better handle loads that are stored in a push-back racking system
Excellent Visibility
The new panoramic overhead guard (double safety glass roof) provides the optimum view of the fork tips at height. In addition, the wide view mast and stacked hydraulic lines are all designed to help the operator be fully aware of his surroundings, helping to reduce operational risk and improving their material handling productivity.
